( 3.5 to 5 years old - Nursery 1 & Nursery 2)
Swimsense preschoolers classes focus on capturing and retaining a child interest in swimming. We believe the best way to achieve this is to create safe environments in which children can be introduced to the water whilst having fun and by providing a progressive learn to swim program that is both challenging and rewarding. Preschoolers can be introduced to the water and begin learning how to swim. Basic strokes will be taught first and as the lessons continue, they can learn more strokes. Proficiency will be a focus and then the skills can be developed even further.
Practice: Safely jump entry and short distance swim
Practice: Back Float
Students will learn the basic safety in and around the pool. This program is designed to ensure the student is comfortable and confidence in water. Students will be introduce the basic swimming skills which includes pool entries, front and back float, front and back paddling- 5m, underwaterskills- open eyes and blow bubbles, Signal for distress and grasp flotation aids. Can your child swim with the face in the water and get a breath when needed for at least 5m?
Swimsense conduct lesson in smaller group of 4-5 students so as to be more effective with our swimming lessons. The advantage of small group lesson, we are able to provide proper attention to each child and allow the child to develop their skills and technique at their full potential. Small group classes enable interaction between coach-student and student-student (peers), improving their social skills and allowing coach to effectively build rapport with the child.
